  1. I’m hoping @Patrick Connor or someone similar will see this thread! 🙏
  2. Please allow help file access WITHIN working space. It is very frustrating to have to leave the document you are working on to look something up in the help! please increase what the “?” button reveals in the workspace, especially the meaning of context-sensitive toolbar buttons (for example all of the crazy node icons!) and things like undo/redo are done by swiping down and up on the history icon! 🙏🙏🙏 and thank you 😄
  3. I'm requesting keyboard shortcut for this little button on Text Styles studio [it would be like Ctrl+Spacebar in Word] Please, please 🙏, and thank you 😊
  4. I wanted to say thank you VERY much. It is very frustrating to have to leave the document you are working on to look something up in the help! Also, it is unfortunate that the “?“ button available while working in a document doesn’t show more information, such as the meaning of context-sensitive toolbar buttons (for example all of the crazy node icons!) and things like undo/redo are done by swiping down and up on the history icon!
  5. @h_d, wow, that's SUPER useful! Not exactly what I was hoping but helpful. A problem that remains with this is that the custom colors don't move with the document, so this would work only on the ORIGINAL computer?
  6. Sorry about the delay! I'm referring to this little button on Text Styles studio: If there's no keyboard shortcut (and I think there isn't!), I really hope we can get one! [Like Ctrl+Spacebar in Word] Thanks for any help.
  7. Maybe there's another way to do this: I want to be able to add a text size or a text color to SOME text within a paragraph regardless of the paragraph style. So I in various places, I might want to de-emphasize some text with the same "gray" or the same small text size....And that text could be parenthetical phrases at the end of various paragraphs (for example in "body" text, labels, and bulleted items), each of which have their own paragraph styles. I don't want to have to define a character style for "gray", "smaller", and "gray smaller" to be able to use either or both of these character styles...But I can't add BOTh character styles "gray" and "smaller" to the same text...But I want to do this with a "style" so if I choose to change the gray, or the specific smaller text size, it changes everywhere in the document. Any recommendations? Thank you
  8. Can't find one or how to set one within Preferences → keyboard shortcuts. Does there need to be a menu item so it will show as a command to which a keyboard shortcut can be added? Used to Cmd+Space clearing character formatting in Microsoft Word...
  9. Trying to fit word within rounded rectangle and having the problem shown in this video: if I try to narrow the box around the word, the word is considered too wide to fit in the box, even though the "insets" (margins in the frame) are set to 0....It just occurred to me that perhaps the the text is filling its "frame" but the distance between the frame and the inside of the box is the problem? So I would want to be able to make the text box edges closer to the edges of the box?
  10. SOLUTION: my bad, now I see the "use space before" setting at the bottom of the "Spacing" pane. It works if I set to "always"! [leaving in original post in case someone else has this question]
  11. As in this video, if I set "before paragraph" spacing on a paragraph that's at the top of its frame, it doesn't work.
