Importing Microsoft Word tables

Is there a way to import a Microsoft word table into a Publisher document while retining the Word table formatting

This depends on the formatting you're referring to - Unfortunately Affinity Publisher can't have 'table' objects pasted from Word, however you can copy your table in Word, create a table in Publisher, select all the cells then paste.

Affinity will retain the text formatting, however if you want to copy styles such as the tables colour/size etc then this isn't possible currently, my apologies!
