I am new to Affinity and the Forum so  hope I am carrying out correct procedure.

On Sept 7th. I purchased Affinity Photo online from the Microsoft Store. I downloaded and installed the program. Affinity then opened and runs fectly without the need to enter Registration/License Key.

This all sounds fine, but, what if I have to reinstall the program at a later date of if ever need to prove the authenticity of the program to Affinity, and can I obtain a License Key from Affinity with  prove of purchase?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums :)

If you need to reinstall in the future you will do so from the Microsoft Store, just as you installed originally. All record of your purchase and ownership of Photo is with Microsoft.

Hi Walt.

Thanks for the welcome and the information. I thought it would be down to Microsoft if I had any issues, but, getting the information from Mr. Gates could have taken several weeks.

I have been a Photoshop user and subscriber for several years and only recently discovered Affinity and already I am contemplating cancelling the subscription.

Thanks again.

Phil Ashmore.
