1. Is there a way to use the Pantone Matching System (PMS) color numbers in AD?

2. Once I have selected the 10-12 specific colors from PMS, RGB or CMYK that I want to use in my design, how can I save this set of colors in a palette so that I can use the same palette in my next design?

Thanks

Hi pomme27

1. No, currently we don't offer support for Pantone colours. This is on our roadmap to be implemented later and will be available as a free update.

2. Go to the Swatches tab on the right of the interface, click on the small menu icon on the top right and select one of the three type of palettes available: Document, Application or System palette. If you want to use the palette only in Affinity Designer choose Add Application Palette, if you want it available to the whole system choose the Add System Palette.
