Opened PSD file, but cannot edit text.

Hello,

I was able to successfully open a PSD file but when I click on the text, nothing happens.  I can't edit it.  In Photoshop, I simply can click on the text and edit.  Why am I unable to do the same thing in Affinity?

I'm using a trial version.

Welcome Affinity Forums
Go to Affinity Preferences, General section and tick Import PSD text as text rather than bitmap (otherwise text layers are rasterised on import). Import the PSD file again. The text should now be editable.
