Rob Chisholm Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Is their a default like in most other programs to remove the background in AD and AP? Quote
Sara72 Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 I’m guessing the Transparent canvas setting under documents is the same as the Options settings for transparent background when setting up a new document? Only other option I’ve found is under the burger menu settings for the layers Studio and a check box for checkboard background. Quote
Rob Chisholm Posted July 21, 2019 Author Posted July 21, 2019 Thank you Sara, take an image grab and post if you would please, no burgers here just sandwiches:) Quote
Sara72 Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Lols, more of a burger in box Here you go, you see the transparency on thumbnails when checked: Quote
Rob Chisholm Posted July 21, 2019 Author Posted July 21, 2019 Thank you Sara, also do you or anyone else know how to change the colour on the background? white too bright for drawing, if anything in painting I put a wash down first and then draw/ paint on top with real paints. Apps Procreate, change background to suit, easy procedure held in layers. where is the method in AD and AP please Regards Rob Quote
Sara72 Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Hi Rob I usually drag out the rectangle tool in the colour i want to fill the whole canvas and then lock it in the layers, there isn’t that option like Procreate or sketchbook to set the background colour in the layers. It would be nice if designer had the option in document setup to choose a colour canvas, similar to what Corel painter has. Quote
Rob Chisholm Posted July 22, 2019 Author Posted July 22, 2019 Cool, thank you Sara, that is the way I have been making my background colour same as you. I suggest an idea in their what we like lists Nice chatting with you. Regards Rob Sara72 1 Quote
