dannac Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 I have a file saved as letter size with .5 margins. If I add a new page the margins are set to 1" on new page. How do I have all new pages added have same .5 margin page 1 ?
Dan C Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Hi dannac It sounds as though when you created your document the default 1" margins were used, then changed in Spread Setup at a later time. In the Spread Setup dialogue there is an option in the top left to apply your changes to one, multiple or all spreads. If you created your document with 1" margins, then changed the margins for 1 page only to be 0.5", all subsequent pages created will default to the 1" margin the document was created with. To apply the 0.5 margin change to all pages in your document and all future pages please open Spread Setup and then in top left select All Spreads. Now change your margins to 0.5" and click OK. You should now find all newly created pages uses these properties. I hope this helps!
