nucleardirk Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Hey! when trying to open a PSD file which contains fonts not on my system - i don't get any message notifying me about this issue. I know that PDF import let me know when a font is missing but why this is not working for PSD files? Quote

As far as i know, this has always been the case. You should get a pop up warning starting fonts are missing, which includes the font name but you won't get the font replacement options that you get when opening a PDF. However, this would make for a good feature request Quote
creative-iiw Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 I am using the latest version of Affinity Photo (1.7.3) for Mac, and I have the same problem. There is no "pop up warning" about fonts missing. There is another pop up when I open the file about some unsupported layer effects (or something like that — it says "Unknown layers effect type : numModifyingFX"). But nothing about missing fonts. If I click on the font, I see a question mark in front of the font name, but that is the only way I would know the font is missing, besides that it looks weird. Quote
pbwebd Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I'm also having this problem. It's not related to fonts though. I get that popup as well, but that's more of a warning. This is a true error. Quote
