Daroh Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 I have a bit of a weird problem, When starting either Photo or Designer and opening an image, touch gestures work perfectly for a second then stop (pinch to zoom, horizontal scroll) you have to be quick, but once the zoom or scroll has started, as long as you don't take your fingers off the pad it allows you to continue to zoom in and out or scroll horizontally but as soon as you release, it stops working. You can also close all images, then open a new one (or create new) and once again for a second, the gestures work. I've played around in settings to see if this is some kind of *feature* however haven't found anything makes a difference. The only gesture that continues to work is vertical scroll. Is this something to do with Affinity thinking I'm using a mouse so it disables gestures? Device is a built in Synaptics touch pad on my laptop. Quote
Staff Gabe Posted August 2, 2019 Staff Posted August 2, 2019 Hi @Daroh, Sorry for the delayed reply. When they stop working, do they work in different apps? I've had similar issues caused by bad drivers with my Asus laptop where I could only scroll vertically. Thanks, Gabe. Quote
Daroh Posted August 9, 2019 Author Posted August 9, 2019 Hi Gabriel, The gestures work fine across everything else, it only occurs on affinity designer and photo. I can happily switch to chrome or anything else and zoom and pan to my hearts content, even on Serif Drawplus X6 the gestures work fine. Quote
