Affinity Publisher 1.7.1: Image DPI size displaying with PNG and not PDF

Recommended Posts

Hi

Please see screenshots attached, and note selected image in each.

+ Please let me know why in screenshot 1 that the image does not state the "field" that is in screenshot 2, regarding "image DPI".

+ Even though image selected is PDF in screenshot 1, there should still be the option of seeing original size as I can with a PNG for example, as the PDF could be for example just "300 DPI", and include "raster" images within the PDF. It is useful to see this information as one can with a PNG for example.

I look forward to a response. Thanks.

Hi afridraw,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
In the first screenshot you have an embedded document selected (a PDF according to your description). We don't display DPI information for embedded documents - they can contain several images/objects. You can however double-click it on canvas to open the embedded PDF in a new document tab, select an image layer there and check the DPI information as you did for the image in the screenshot 2.
