Burning1 Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 1) In PS under "levels" it has a picker( eye dropper) for different levels of white. I have not been able to find this function in Affinity. It would be nice under White Balance to have a "eye dropper to select "white" When shooting homes under cloudy conditions, white balance is difficult to adjust due to hue (no color meter). My PC is calibrated but still time consuming to color correct. I use a white board in first picture then retake the photo without the white board. I now have to white balance in PS save and open with Affinity. This could be useful in the tone module ( I shoot 5 picts. for each shot) then instead of 5 pictures, I have only 1 to color correct. 2) Place a (zoom to fit button) outside on the main window. 3) When opening several files 20-30, color of the file selected something other than light or dark gray. Sometimes it is difficult to figure out which one I am on if not looking perfectly on the screen. 4) A button to reset all of the settings back to initial default ( new load ) conditions. It is a pain to keep going back to the studio button to turn stuff on and off. Occasionally is fine but but but. Quote

If you just want to temporarily hide everything in the studio, tap the tab key on the keyboard. To reset everything else, look in Preferences -> Miscellaneous. 2 hours ago, Burning1 said: Place a (zoom to fit button) outside on the main window. Keyboard shortcut on the Mac is Command+0 (zero), suspect on Windoze might be Control+0 - should be able to look it up in View -> Zoom 2 hours ago, Burning1 said: picker( eye dropper) for different levels of white In the Develop persona, you can use the White Balance Tool on the toolbar along the left. In the Photo persona, add a "White Balance" adjustment from the Layers panel and there is a "Picker" button on the adjustment window. You might also take a look at the "Auto Levels", "Auto White Balance", etc. buttons on the main toolbar across the top of the window. photoadele and Ron P. 2 Quote
