Screen errors on Surface Pro 4

Hi, I have been mightily impressed with Photo so took the dive and purchased Designer and Publisher to take advantage of the workflow personas.

I do a lot of free work for my church with magazines, posters and website images and have used Open Source Scribus and Gimp, so this has been a big investment on my part. Working with Publisher for the first time today I am finding my way around but I'm hitting visual problems when swapping personas to work on placed images, I find using any layer mask gives me weird graphical errors making it almost impossible to clean up an image. I am using a Windows Surface Pro 4 with an i7 and 16GB Ram on Windows 10 Pro, I've not had any issues with Photo and have done some heavy graphical work in Davinci Resolve video editing without graphical problems like this. Do you have any suggestions to improve this problem. I also get an error with what I see in Publisher and what is exported, see HymnalGuideError2.png for the PDF export which shows the perspective changes reset on an image and what I see in Pub before exporting in HymnalGuideError0.png.

I hope these are teething glitches that can be easily resolved as I had been looking forward to bringing some professionalism to my church publications.

Thank you for reporting a problem using 1.7.x . It appears that a member of the Affinity QA team didn't get round to fully investigating this specific report posted in the bugs forums. We are very sorry for this oversight. Yours is one of a number of reports that I am posting this apology to, using an automated script.

Now we have released 1.8.3 on all platforms containing many hundreds of bug fixes, and we hope your problem has already been fully addressed. If you still have this problem in the 1.8.3 release build, then the QA team would really appreciate you reporting again it in the relevant Bugs forum.
