ryush Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 I can't setup 1.7 ver. The update installation failed, and the old version of the program does not work after that. Setup.log SetupUI.log Quote
walt.farrell Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @ryush. It seems to be a permissions problem. The detailed message in SetupUI.log suggests running the installer as Administrator. I would also suggest rebooting Windows first, so try this: Reboot Windows. Then right-click on the installer .exe file and choose Run As Administrator. jaftwo Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Reboot first always works for me. Run as Administrator doesn't seem to matter. It happens with Photo, Designer, and Publisher.
