Issues with colour and pencil tool in Designer IPad

Recommended Posts

Sorry for what might seem a most basic question, but I lose the fill and stroke colours the minute I touch the screen with the pencil tool, so that while the line is being drawn, I can’t see it, and I have to set the fill and/or stroke colour after I draw for every single line. How do I make the pencil tool not revert to no colours for fill and stroke every time I touch the screen?

Hi @Girlvsworld Something not right there. You should be able to see the colour  (and fill of fill on) in the Pens context menu. Once applied it should stay with that setting until changed.

could you do a screen recording showing what you are doing/what is happening. iPad has a useful inbuilt screen recorder and if you turn on Show touches in Designer, people can see what actions you are taking on screen. :)
