PLEASE add a keyboard shortcut to Toggle the Selection without deleting it

Recommended Posts

There are more than 2 threads of people responding to wanting this feature. It is invaluable when you are doing fine work. And when you and cannot see what you are doing because of the flashing "marching ants" , its maddening!

PLEASE consider creating a keyboard shortcut to toggle the selection without deleting it

thanks for the consideration!

Hi @TKucey,

View>Show Pixel Selection, toggles the marching ants on or off. You set the keyboard shortcut in the Preferences>Keyboard Shortcuts>View menu command options. I use Shift+P.

Thanks very much for taking the time to answer Ron! Excited to get a fix!!

Heads up for anyone else needing this:   "View menu command options" doesnt exist anymore. Things moved around a bit with the 7.1 update I guess.

Now its Preferences>Keyboard Shortcuts> then on the left choose the lower drop down menu with "File" as the default- scroll down and choose "VIEW"

Scroll down to "Show Pixle Selection" and you can set your own shortcut.

I chose Alt-A . A for ants!

And now I can toggle to my hearts desire - yahoo!
