ygoe
I've just watched the Live 2019 event and noticed there's a new tool button in Publisher to toggle the bleed preview. Very nice! So I was just looking to find that in Designer 1.7.1, too, but it's not there. What I found then through this forum was the menu command that does it. A quick test went well in a regular document. But now I'm here in a document with artboards. A business card with two sides. And it doesn't have its bleed area designed yet. I still need to do that so I enabled that option. The document has the bleed area set to 2 mm. Yet nothing is visible. No guideline outside of the artboard (would probably be invisible due to the same shade of grey) and no content if I drag it outside the artboard boundaries. Is this supported? Can I use the new bleed preview with artboards? Did you just miss that?
Staff stokerg Posted June 20, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 20, 2019 Hi ygoe, It's not currently possible to preview the bleed on a document with an artboard, so you haven't missed anything.
ygoe
Thanks. "Not currently" means I can look forward to it coming?
