Sirdragonx
Greetings, I am using Affinity photo on the iPad. When applying a filter, I usually push the lightening bolt button which makes the filter a child layer of the main layer. Now the button is missing and I can only apply it to layer making it a destructive edit. I noticed that Live Filter effects was re-written in the latest update. What I noticed is that now when I go to apply a filter there is no live (lightening bolt) button option in the apply section at the bottom as before. The only button is to apply it to the current layer. How do we make it a non-destructive edit now that there is no live button on the bottom. Only apply or cancel. Thanks, Ernie Edited June 11, 2019 by Sirdragonx
DM1
In the filter studio menu there is a switch at the top. Turning this on shows all the extra 'Live filters'. Turning off hides them. Agypsy
I have turned on the live filters as shown, but still cannot use as live filters, the lightening bolt does not appear on my iPad version. I have tried both perspective and high pass and no live filter access
DM1
@Agypsy No lightning bolt required. Any filter selected with Live Filter switch active is ALREADY a live filter. To change the settings at any time just revisit the layer and double tap on the filter layer. This brings back the Context menu for the filter.
