ErikGrosse Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 After installing the new Affinity Photo 1.7.0.367, I developed a Sony RAW file and cut out only the center. Then I did live sharpening an slight noise bekomes visible in the blue sky. When applying the live color denoise, an additional new luminance noise becomes visible in the 100% view. To show the difference, I masked out the left part of the image (no denoise) The effect is also visible, when using the luminance denoise, but much lesser. In the old 1.6.x version, is did not notice such an effect. (The document format was RGB/16 - SRGB model) Erik Quote
Staff Gabe Posted June 24, 2019 Staff Posted June 24, 2019 @ErikGrosse, Sorry for the delayed reply. Can you please attach the RAW file so we can have a look? Thanks, Gabe. Quote
ErikGrosse Posted June 24, 2019 Author Posted June 24, 2019 It is a strange effect, probably only visible in the special case of a blue sky. I could reproduce this behaviour with the following settings: RAW development: Lens - Remove Lens Vignette - 200% (yes, Canon 100-400mm II with Sigma MC-11) Exposure +1.327 contrast +20% Photo Persona CTRL+1 100% view New live view layer - noise - denoise Colours 50% Greetings Erik DSC02057.ARW Quote
Staff Gabe Posted June 24, 2019 Staff Posted June 24, 2019 It looks like the raw file is damaged. Any chance you can upload it again here? https://www.dropbox.com/request/NqK6xmFNYW2zthmnhCKw Quote
