Garrett Cobarr Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 (edited) I have purchased both Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer through the Apple App Store for my laptop and desktop. I've also downloaded 1.5 upgrades for both of them through the apps, all of this would indicate that I am an 'existing customer.' Yet when I respond to my email newsletter or though the welcome screen of either app to the Affinity Publisher public beta offer, I am shunted to the Affinity Store that then informs me that there is no record of me. Thus this makes it impossible for me to download the beta. I also find it a bit disturbing that I am not considered an existing customer that apparently has the consequence of not being fully involved with Affinity. How do I correct this situation? Update: Some additional information, I was part of the Affinity Photo beta.... Edited May 24, 2019 by Garrett Cobarr Additional information added Quote

Choose the ‘New to Affinity?’ tab — short for ‘New to the Affinity Store?’ (so it’s irrelevant that you’re not actually new to the Affinity apps) — and proceed from there. Garrett Cobarr Posted May 24, 2019 Author Posted May 24, 2019 Thanks Alfred, downloading the beta now, it's a whomper, weighing in at just shy of a half a gig. Should have waited until I got back to my office. I assume that this sets me up in the store. The other reason I thought I as setup, was that I had downloaded the UI kit for Designer but that might have been executed through the App Store as well. Speaking as a recovering UX & UI designer, anyone who is a current owner of Affinity software and hitting that page would head for the 'Existing Customer' tab. Judging by the amount questions on this issue in the forums, I am not the only one. To tell you the truth, I had some hesitations going through the Apple App Store for this software, its convenience is softened by some hassles like this I've had with other companies and my bookkeeper is not happy with Apple's receipts that do not clearly state the product or company name in their subject fields. Thanks again. Alfred 1 Quote
Garrett Cobarr Posted May 24, 2019 Author Posted May 24, 2019 Success on both counts: beta download and store account. Thanks again. Alfred 1 Quote
