Painting outside bounds

Hi!

 

I am hoping this isn't default behavior. If it is, is there a way around it? It messes with my workflow making me redo art constantly because I realize lines are outside the bounds.

You have several options here.

1. Unsnap canvas, this will expand canvas to fill the layer objects boundary, showing the 'hidden' lines.

2. Use the Move Tool to resize object boundary to fit current canvas.

3. Use Selection tool and draw rectangle. Paint inside rectangle selection. The selection will limit painting etc to within the selection boundaries. When finished long press on screen and tap deselect to remove selection rectangle.

4. Limit painting to within canvas outline.

There are probably other ways to achieve what you desire.
