MousePods Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Hi! I am hoping this isn't default behavior. If it is, is there a way around it? It messes with my workflow making me redo art constantly because I realize lines are outside the bounds. Thanks! 6B872E3F-796B-48CF-841A-9B675C06D15F.MP4 Quote
DM1 Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 You have several options here. 1. Unsnap canvas, this will expand canvas to fill the layer objects boundary, showing the 'hidden' lines. 2. Use the Move Tool to resize object boundary to fit current canvas. 3. Use Selection tool and draw rectangle. Paint inside rectangle selection. The selection will limit painting etc to within the selection boundaries. When finished long press on screen and tap deselect to remove selection rectangle. 4. Limit painting to within canvas outline. There are probably other ways to achieve what you desire. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
