Alliat
I noticed that the current downloadable version for Mac is 1.6.11, but I bought Affinity Photo with the Mac AppStore where the version is still 1.6.7 (March 1, 2018). I can't download the 1.6.11 because I didn't get a license key with my AppStore purchase so I'm stuck at that version until the AppStore download is updated. R C-R
The different version numbers just distinguish the Mac App Store version from the Affinity Store version. They are functionally identical except that the 1.6.11 version requires a product key ("PK" in the latest versions chart here) & there are a few very minor differences due to sandboxing. When a new retail version update is released (which almost certainly will be a 1.7 build) you will be able to update through the Mac App Store. Alliat
Ok, that is indeed good news. I thought the Mac AppStore version had lagged behind four releases. I encountered a rather frustrating bug yesterday and started hunting out the latest version.
