The curious thing is that the paginator invokes the “Add Pages” dialogue, when you reach the last spread, but does not do so, when you try to click back beyond the first one. In this case, the respective arrow is greyed out. At the same time, the “Add Pages” dialogue offers the option of adding pages not only after, but also before a page! So the current behaviour seems a bit inconsistent to me.
