Multiple picture frames?

Recommended Posts

In InDesign you can - with the arrows keys - add more picture frames when using the picture frame tool. Like three frames in a rwo and two down. you can even adjust teh space between the several frames.
Is there a way to do exactyl that in APub?
I've searched this forum for an answer as well as google and I searched inside APub, but didnt find a simialr function.
Possible is, that I oversea it, but any help would be nice.
Thank you!

You can create your Picture Frames, then use the Alignment icon on the Toolbar (image.png.50585d235f366b3e92267dd7b3d287a8.png) to space them horizontally or vertically.

For example, create one Frame, then use Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) + J twice to make two copies, giving you three. Select all three in the Layers panel, then click on Alignment, then on Space Horizontally. Uncheck Auto Distribute, and specify the horizontal spacing you want. Then, still with all 3 selected, use Ctrl/Cmd+J again to duplicate the 3 of them. Then click on Alignment, Space Vertically, uncheck Auto Distribute, and specify the vertical spacing you want.

okay thanks, that would do the trick, thought I don't find it as intuitive like the possibility in ID where you can add and adjust more frames right when you do a new one.
But then APub is in Beta and perhaps such advanced feature will come later.
Nevertheless thank you, that tipp will help me so far
