DesignT Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Hi, I am getting difficulties to get the following effect, let me try to explain. On working with a triptych A4 fold I am getting problems to align the background in front I have background with some objects like the image direction 1 and in rear I have other group with similar objects but in the opposite direction (image direction 2). The effect that I need is to get the correct background alignment of the background when we open the first fold column, remember that the background are in opposite directions, the background is only printed at top and bottom of those fold columns. On the inside I place the two backgrounds (object group) in both directions, I have applied a rectangle in the columns to show just the top and bottom background rays. But the effect I need is when we open the first fold column, we can see on the rigth column (the one that is still closed, that belongs to the back of the A4) the background rays in the same direction of the inside background. The final result.png is what I need to get but I am getting the mixed.png. I think I need to find a way to mask, cut the unwanted background (objects group) in that specific column the one we see in pink. Any tips ? Staff Lee D Posted March 29, 2019 Staff Posted March 29, 2019 Hi DesignT, Can you upload your Affinity file and the images you would like to use and which order so I can take a look. I have an idea of how it should be able to be done. If you don't want them to be public you can always send me a PM. Quote
