hevonen
While nodes themselves do snap to pixel grid, I can't get curve control handles to snap to neither grid nor pixel alignments. Is there a design reason for this? It makes it hard to create symmetric assets or constrained drawings. Ideally I would like everything to snap to anything checked in snap properties. Staff MEB Posted April 13, 2015 Staff Share Posted April 13, 2015 Hello hevonen, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Currently you can only snap path nodes. Snapping wasn't implemented for control handles yet. I believe this will be coming later. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
JohJakob
Yeah, snapping control handles to anything would be awesome, as well as moving control handles with the arrow keys. This is possible in FontForge, but not in multipurpose vector drawing tools like Affinity Designer and Adobe Illustrator.
