Moin,

Julian

uhmann - not sure whats going on with those links. Yours appears to be crashing trying to read a file. Can you give us some more info on how many files you have open and maybe a few sample documents. Do you use on line syncing or Nas drives at all?

Thank you for getting back to me!

I tried to open the file several times: right after a restart and with lots of free space and RAM and no other documents open, I even installed Windows on a VM to open it in the Windows Affinity Publisher. The document is completely unusable. So I had to recreate the file in Indesign to finish the project (its my fault to use a beta software for a productive task, you guys just built such an awesome software I couldn't help myself but to try it with a real project …)

The images where from different sources: some I copy-pasted from an Indesign document, some I placed.

The locations of the images are my ~/Documents folder, my ~/Downloads folder and a subfolder in my Adobe Creative Files (that only before the copy-paste from ID). I switched on the syncing of my documents folder in the middle of the project, but the documents folder shows up as local and the files do not get synced to iCloud.

And also: I set up a Git rep for the publisher document.

Welcome Publisher to the real world of file messiness! But I guess that is the reason for a beta test.
