Stephan Budach Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Hi, we just purchased a volume license of all Affinity apps for our company and we're using Munki to deploy our software packages to our Macs. We actually don't want to enter the serial numbers on every client on our network, which will get these apps installed and sales told me, that there's a license file, that we could ditribute along with the app. Unfortuanetly, I have nit been able to spot that file. Maybe, there's another way to license the product on a remote client, which we are not aware of, is there? Thanks, Stephan Marcel Reinke 1 Quote
Dan C Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Hi Stephan, Welcome to the forums Can you please email us directly at affinitysupport@serif.com so we can assist you here! Quote
Stephan Budach Posted January 25, 2019 Author Posted January 25, 2019 Yeah… I already sent them a message, but that didn't stop me from searching… so… I found them. On the Mac, the license.xml resides in /Users/<user>/Library/Applicaiton Support/<Affinity Product> Too bad that Serif didn't bother and considered multi-user environments as well - makes managing the files a lot more involved. Let's see, what affinitysupport will come up with. Quote
Precursor Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Stephan, Just curious if you worked something out with munki deployment. Did you find or create an autopkg recipe? Quote
Stephan Budach Posted August 24, 2019 Author Posted August 24, 2019 Well, there's no AutoPkgr for that, but building the license package was simple enough, so we rolled our own. Quote
