AntonW
Hello, Beginner question, that I can't find asked / answered anywhere (but apologies if it has been) for anyone who is able to help! Is there a way to print multiple copies of a publication on one sheet (sometimes referred to as side by side printing - i.e. two A5 pages on one A4). Reason for asking: Occasionally, when we're doing a short print run of flyers for our community centre, instead of sending it to our printers we do a print run on the in house laser (printing two copies of an A5 publication onto one A4 and then cut down the middle). It doesn't seem to be an option in Affinity Publisher but thought there may be a way or a work around. Thanks!
fde101
Set up the document as A5, duplicate the page after it is completed, when printing set the page size to A4 and use the tiled printing mode.
walt.farrell
On Windows, at least, the Print dialog offers what seems to me like a simpler approach: Just choose the N-Up layout option: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
AntonW
Thanks both; I had tried both of those solutions previously but now realise I was setting the print options incorrect. N-Up is indeed the quickest, and exact, solution I was looking for. Cheers! walt.farrell
