SpyV Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 When trying to print with Affinity Photo on Canon iPF750 plotter, i keep receiving the following message: "Cannot find module necessary for printing. Re-install the printer driver." I have updated the driver to the latest version but i still cannot print. This issue doesn't exist when printing on my Konica Minolta printer. Any suggestions? Quote
Staff Gabe Posted January 11, 2019 Staff Posted January 11, 2019 Hi @SpyV, Welcome to the forums. Can you please try to uninstall the drivers, and then install them as Admin? ( right click > Run as admin ). There was a windows update some time ago that broke the Nvidia drivers, and could only be fixed by uninstall/reinstall. Update would not make any difference. Thanks, Gabe. Quote
SpyV Posted January 16, 2019 Author Posted January 16, 2019 Changed both NVidia and Canon drivers by uninstalling them but still no progress. It is only the Affinity Photo program that doesn't print with the Canon iPF750 plotter. All other programs are printing correctly. So it seems that Affinity is missing something (a utility? an extension?) that will make it connect with the plotter. Quote
Staff Gabe Posted January 16, 2019 Staff Posted January 16, 2019 I've had a look around and this problem has been reported in other places, with different apps. They have solved the issue by uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the drivers as admin. That error message you get it not generated by Affinity. Have you tried contacting Canon? You can have a look at this: https://community.ivanti.com/docs/DOC-45499 Not sure how relevant that is. Quote
