robbrich Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 I was trying out the Beta today and was looking to import a specific page from a PDF file but I noticed there are no options to scroll through a PDF to determine which page you want to import. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to import. This is also true when importing a file from Illustrator that has multiple artboards. Thanks Robb
walt.farrell Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 When Placing a PDF you're right that there's no way to scroll quickly through the pages to find the one you want. After you've placed it, you can go one page at a time using the Artboard field in the Context menu, until you hit the one you want. Or for large PDFs you could use a PDF reader, find the page, and then tell Designer which you want. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
