Jeff Brickman
I have downloaded and tried to install the Photo application on to a laptop, the installer fails to run, I reviewed several posts who have the same issue and followed the .Net issues, Firewall and AV issues, still will not run, I posted the log files to the ftp site about 2 weeks ago. Staff stokerg Posted November 28, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 28, 2018 Hi Jeff Brickman and Welcome to the Forums, We have checked for the log files and haven't been able to find them. Can you run the setup for Affinity again, so it fails and then upload the latest log files to this Dropbox link i've setup for you.

v_kyr
AFAIK the Intel i5-2410M is an older Notebook CPU, do you actually run a 64-Bit Windows system on a notebook? Staff stokerg Posted November 29, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 29, 2018 Hi Jeff, Thanks for the log files. The error is: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" which would normally point to a 32bit version of Windows. Can you just confirm it really is a 64bit version of Windows. It's possible even tho the process is 64bit that you running a 32bit version of Windows, which is what the error log indicates.
Jeff Brickman
32-bit, Windows
Staff stokerg Posted November 29, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 29, 2018 Hi Jeff, That's the problem then, Affinity requires a 64bit version of Windows in order to run
