jtlapp
Can anyone tell me how to set up my Wacom Intuos (NOT pro) to erase when pressing one of the pen buttons in Affinity Photo? When I lift the button, I'd like it to revert back to the prior tool (or at least the paint brush). Setting it to "Erase" does nothing. I understand how to assign keystrokes and functions to the button via the tablet's preferences, but I can't set it to erase that way. There is an "application specific" option but I can't figure out how to make that do anything with Affinity Photo. Thanks for your help! Old Bruce
I think you have to change the end (which is usually erase) to something else and make sure the tool's button is set for the complete keyboard shortcut from Affinity. I think it is called Key or Keystroke in the wacom prefs. Also make sure the wacom driver is up to date for whatever OS you have. Sorry about being vague but I am away from mine at the moment. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

My pen does not have an eraser end, and it appears that Wacom has disabled the eraser function for (the brand new) low-end tablets. So I made a poor-man's eraser. The lower pen button selects the brush, the upper one selects the eraser. There is no toggling. Thanks for your help!
