Staff MEB Posted October 22, 2018 Staff Share Posted October 22, 2018 Hi summerfeeling, Welcome to Affinity Forums This may be something specific to that file, or are you having the same issues with other files? Do you mind attaching the afpub file that's causing trouble to see if we can replicate it here? Thanks. Unfortunately there are a lot of personal data in the document and the document cannot be edited because the CPU load is always increasing and Publisher freezes. Basically this is not a productive document. I have already created the document with a competing app. I just wanted to know how easy or quick it is to create the document with Affinity Publisher. I've recreated the document from scratch. The document has 4 pages and a master page: On the master page there is a logo and a text block. On the 4 main pages there are 3 tables, a few text blocks and a linked text frame. Now it works better... BUT: When I click into another text field, 200% CPU usage is still displayed for a few seconds. I think it's very CPU hungry.
