Hey Guys,

Just wondering if there will be further depth to the exporting process? I like what you have right now - but in comparison to my Photoshop workflow and keeping the smallest possible image sizes, it's lacking.

Identical images, PS was 10kb, and AD was 40kb. In the long run that's going to be giving quite the difference in website file sizes.

Note, I use PNGHat PS Extension which helps a lot.

It would be nice to have an estimated file size in the export panel (unless I'm blind).

Hello bdbolin,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

There is an estimated file size in the export panel right below the Resample drop down (in File ▹ Export...).

The Export Persona will be improved later with previews and new options.

Hopefully we should also be able to improve image optimisation, but it still may take a while.

There's already a lot planned for the next months.

If you press ⌘⇧S then you can see the estimated size.

I like this way better than the "export persona"

Awesome. The planned link you gave me - it was posted August 2014 - is there a more recent thread or is this page just being updated?

Also, I played around further with exporting and seemed to have been getting better results.
