TdB Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 When opening a saved file, how do I display all the original layers again? On the one layer, after the layer title, it says (embedded documents), but I don't see how to open them. Quote
mikerofoto Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 you’ll see your edits and layers if you save your image as affinityphoto format, not as .tiff or .jpeg Quote

Hard to say without knowing what program you are using, what OS you are using, what filetype you saved the files in or how you opened them! At a rough guess, you Placed them, using File > Place rather than opening them by going File > Open (or just double clicking). Supply some information and I'm sure someone can help you. Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

Select the Layer in the layer's panel, then on the context toolbar you should see a button to Edit Document If you do not see the context toolbar ensure View > Show Context Toolbar is ticked Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
