Gerard Owmby Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 When I try to update Designer to version 6.5 I get a popup that says I cannot update. It says, "The contents of the file "affinity-designer' cannot be extracted with this program." Changing the settings in my Mac security preferences doesn't help.
R C-R Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 From Latest Affinity releases on each platform by store, the most recent Mac version of Affinity Designer is 1.6.1 (or 1.6.3 PK if you got the special "product key" version). The 1.6.5 versions (if that is what you mean) are for Windows & will not work with the Mac OS. All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps (currently 2.6.4); 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
