Problem selecting and filling with inpainting

Recommended Posts

Hi Tilly,

Welcome to the forums :)

Please make sure the layer you're trying to inpaint on is a pixel layer that has been rasterised (ie not an Image layer that has been placed).

It may help if you could provide a screenshot of Affinity with your layers panel showing!

After each cropping you have to raster the layer again... otherwise the fill will take the old sizes... Its a trap, but once-knwon in mind, no problem.

More nasty is, that eg. wrap/mirror... in eg. equations not uses the layer-size, just always the doc-size. You will get lot of "blind-areas" by "repeating" the content if the layer is smaller than the canvas!!!!
