emuuuh
It might be a noob question because I can't find answers or similar questions anywhere. But I'm very new to apps like affinity publisher and I'm searching how I can create a base template for my document. The document I have needs the text fields in the same spot on every page. I thought I could make a placeholder in the master but its not working for me. How would one do this?
Tom Schülke
at the moment it seems it is not supposed to work this way. Well Adobe Indesign works theis way, and i cant find any reason, Publisher doesnt do this.. Problem is , esp. when you work with long text documents esp. books with many Charpters, and you have to change something, you would have to go to every page and change it by hand.. thats odd.. also you have this sweet shift+click on link option on the right side of the text frame.. But when you have linked for example two ore more textframes on one side... only the one single textframe you .... shift+click .... option reproduces only the one frame and not the layout of the other boxes... as other mentioned.. this is a real problem when it comes to long documents like a book.. as well as the by now missing option of inline-graphics .... So with out a textframe on the masterpage that is usaable on each sinde.... publisher restricts its use to smal documents and Brochures which would be very sad.
