jkilin
I am using Affinity Pro on iPad Pro 12.9 inches. I try to separate the images by using the "Refine Selection" Tool, but with the word "Refine Selection ..." in the middle, the clock is repeated several times over and over again. I am using an Apple pencil, and I do not know if this is a problem with the Apple pencil or the problem with the app itself. Is there an option to render after I've made my selection? In addition, is there an option to stop using the hand when using the Apple pencil? IMG_1269.TRIM.MOV
toltec
Hi @jkilin I expect you have confused it by trying to refine the selection. Background is for you to add to the 'background' area (as shown in red) with a brush. i.e. the Pencil Foreground adds to the foreground area (as shown in clear). Matte is the option for you to paint around the selection area edges to refine them. In preferences (the cog on the home screen), in the Tools tab, you can set 'Touch for gestures only'? DM1
A touch or double tap with the pencil will give that result. I like to have Show Touches and Touch for Gestures only turned out. The first is great for posting screen recordings as it shows where and when you have touched the screen. ahh I see Toltec beat me to it Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). jkilin
I already using the "Gesture Only" setting. However, when I use apple pencil with my hand to write , the above situation occurs repeatedly. I think it's a matter of support for apple pencil.
