strokes
I imported a design I created in illustrator and the background turned white. How do I get the background to be transparent again?
Staff MEB Posted March 8, 2015 Staff Share Posted March 8, 2015 Hi strokes, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Go to File ▹ Document Setup... and check Transparent background in the colour section if you opened it through the File ▹ Open... command. If you dragged the file from Finder or used the Place Image Tool to insert the image in a previously opened document, it was embedded in that document. In this case you must double click it on the canvas to edit its contents in a new document tab perform the same actions as i described above, close it and you should now have the background transparent in the embedded document too.
