Strange clipping when returning to file

Hi smth,

The 'border' compound has 2 objects in it, one round curve which makes the border and a small triangle which intersects the curve itself at the bottom. Myself nor my colleagues are sure as to why this is happening, but the round curves bounding box is set inside the curve, rather than outside of it, and this is the point where the object is being clipped when you apply the mask to the group.

There appears to be an issue with this compound, without the history of the document we can't quite pinpoint where it came from, but I'm going to keep investigating to see if I can locate a bug that can be replicated.

In the meantime, select the two curves that make up the compound and Add them together using the appropriately named boolean operation and you will see this clipping issue disappear, as the bounding box is now set to the outside of the curve.

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
