rtteachr
Using the Pen tool I am trying to draw a line that starts with a curve but then I want the next portion to be straight. I Illustrator I would draw the curve and click the last point and then I could start drawing straight again. I believe pressing the P key would do the same. I can't figure out how to do this in Designer. I can only follow a curve segment connected to a curve segment. I hope that makes sense. Staff MattP Posted February 28, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 28, 2015 The 'next' segment will appear curved if there is an extending control point. To delete the extending control point, click it with Option/Alt held down. You can click any off-curve handle at any time with Option held down and it will be removed. Similarly, clicking an on-curve node with Option held down will make the off-curve nodes on both sides of the node disappear and the point will become sharp justwilliam
