Small adjustments in numerical fields

Adjusting numerical values in small increments (for example, for line width) is not very easy by adjusting the sliders, specially when using a pen, instead of a mouse.

Having the ability to increase the values of numeric fields with the cursor keys is great, but the change always occurs in full unit increments/decrements.

So, why not include the following options:

 

- Up/Down cursor keys inside numerical field: Full unit increments/decrements

- Shift + Up/Down cursor keys inside numerical field: Full 10 unit increments/decrements (or, better yet, a value adjustable in the preferences)

- Ctrl or Alt + Up/Down cursor keys inside numerical field: Full .1 unit increments/decrements (or, better yet, a value adjustable in the preferences)

 

And/or the inclusion of small up/down arrows near the numerical fields.
