starting with affinity photo, drag and alt ?

hi,  I am just starting to use me new microsoft pen and at the bottom of the screen it says  drag and alt to start painting,     can anyone please let me know what this means,   I know part of it means press the alt key but dont understand what drag means ?

For someone using a mouse, trackball or touchpad, ‘drag’ refers to moving the cursor while keeping the button depressed. If you’re using a pen or a stylus, it means you move it while pressing it against the drawing surface.
