gerfoto Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Hello, just wondering how to do the following with Affinity. Let's say i have a photo of a nude woman and want to add some sort of transparency that when you see the photo of the nude woman, you do not see the skin, you see the photo of a landscape or a pattern. Hopefully, i am able to explain what i am looking for. Thanks for your help, Quote
Guest Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 I would make the landscape the background layer then the nude as layer over that. Then make a mask based on the parts you want to show through the nude and change the opacity of the mask to 50% or whatever looks correct Try the tutorial videos on masks and layers Quote
firstdefence Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 You might also want to consider some shading to define the shape of the woman because the displace option in Affinity doesn't work quite right at the moment. gerfoto 1 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... gerfoto Posted April 26, 2018 Author Posted April 26, 2018 Hello, I came up with the following with Affinity, what do you think ? Thanks, Quote
Staff MEB Posted April 26, 2018 Staff Posted April 26, 2018 Hi gerfoto, Welcome to Affinity Forums If i understood you correctly the effect you are looking for is called double exposure. Do a search for that term plus Affinity Photo and you will find plenty of tutorials on YouTube. gerfoto 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
