How to replace the skin or add opacity within an image ?

Recommended Posts

Hello, just wondering how to do the following with Affinity.

Let's say i have a photo of a nude woman and want to add some sort of transparency that when you see the photo of the nude woman, you do not see the skin, you see the photo of a landscape or a pattern. Hopefully, i am able to explain what i am looking for. Thanks for your help,

I would make the landscape the background layer then the nude as layer over that.

Then make a mask based on the parts you want to show through the nude and change the opacity of the mask to 50% or whatever looks correct

You might also want to consider some shading to define the shape of the woman because the displace option in Affinity doesn't work quite right at the moment.
