Auto-update

Hi there,

 

I'm sure this question has come up before, and if so please forgive me for asking again as I could not find the answer when searching.

 

Are there any plans to include an auto-update feature in the standalone applications (Windows versions) bought directly from Serif/Affinity?

 

It's not a major issue, but it is a bit of a pest to have to log in to our account, download the latest version, then install it manually.

There are currently no plans to have a automatic update for the Affinity store Windows versions of our apps, to download the update you do not need to login to your account if you click the Download button on the update notification screen it will take you to our update download page.

Ok, thanks for confirming that even if it's not the answer I was hoping to hear.. I'm sure you have your reasons.
