andrewere Posted February 2, 2018 Share Posted February 2, 2018 I've just upgraded from DP5 to AD and want to use it for basic 2D garden plans like I did with DP 5. I used to create design elements, trees and shrubs etc, then drag and drop them into the gallery to be used again in other drawings. Can this still be done in AD, and what's it called? Staff MEB Posted February 2, 2018 Staff Share Posted February 2, 2018 Hi andrewere, Welcome to Affinity Forums You can use the Assets panel for this (menu View ▸ Studio ▸ Assets panel). Create a subcategory for each type of assets you want clicking the small menu icon on the top right of the Assets panel and selecting Create Subcategory..., then select the object you want to add to it selecting the object on canvas (or Layers panel) then go to the small menu icon in front of the subcategory you just created and select Add from selection.
