Imported fonts showing in list but not usable

Hi,  I imported all google fonts into my MacBook using these instructions: https://jeffmatson.net/installing-all-google-fonts-on-macos/

 

The fonts work in Apple applications.  In Affinity Designer, they show up in the list, but when I select one nothing appears.  I did restart Designer.

 

Can anyone help?   Thanks.

Welcome to the forums

 

I have tested these on my computer and they work fine with Affinity. Please could you try uninstalling and then reinstalling the fonts then restart Affinity and try using the fonts again to see if they then work for you?
