tkaa85 Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Hello, I have one question about inserting new artboards. As I know when I create a new artboard it shows up on the right side another artboard shows up next to the previous on the right. Is it possible to insert a new artboard for example below the artboard? What I mean is that I don't want to drag arboards all the time from one place to another. Thx in advance! Quote
firstdefence Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Would be nice to be able to specify a grid of Artboards wouldn't it. You can drag Artboards out like you are drawing a rectangle and it will snap to the document size, it kind of flashes yellow or green when the artboard is the same size as the initial document page. You can copy an Artboard by Option/Alt Clicking and dragging a new Artboard into existence, Cmd/Ctrl Clicking and then dragging has the added benefit of snapping. You can select multiple Artboards and copy them, so you can very quickly make an array of Artboards ready for drawing. If you have particular sets of Artboards why not create a blank document with the Artboards laid out and open it and then Save As... To create a new document to work on.
