Disable CTRL -> view distances option

Hi guys,

Affinity has a really cool feature that allows you to see the exact distance between two objects, by holding Ctrl after selecting an object, and hovering another object, and the distance between those object will be shown. It's a really cool feature, but a feature I don't always use. Is there a way to enable/disable it?

As far as I'm aware there is no way for you to disable this.
